200mm vs. 500mm Lens

In deciding whether to use a 200mm lens or a 500mm lens, you must first consider the subject of your photograph and be familiar with the shooting conditions.

    Both the 200mm and the 500mm have a fixed focal length, as opposed to zoom telephoto lenses. A telephoto lens uses optics enabling you to get closer to your subject
