How to Edit Multiple Photos

The process of editing multiple photos is referred to as a "batch edit." Batch editing is typically used when the editor wants to make the same basic edits on a large number of photos, such as adjusting the contrast. This can save the editor a lot of time by not having to open each photo individually.

Instructions

Move all the photos you want to edit into a single folder. This makes them easier to find, and in some programs is required for a batch edit.

Choose the Batch Edit option in your software. It is usually found under the "Automate" tab or "Batch Edit" or "Multiple Edit."

Select the folder of photos you want to edit and open them.

Choose the edits you want done to the photos. Some software has you choose your edits from pre-recorded actions. Others have a checklist of standard edits.

Run the batch edit and save the photos.
