A light box is a portable studio, which allows for precision control over lighting. Light boxes are ideal for any type of object-based photography, whether the subjects are homemade crafts or consumer products. A commercially available version of these mini-studios can cost hundreds of dollars, while building a light box can typically done for under $100.
Instructions

Slide one of the PVC tees on to each end of the 30-inch PVC pipes.
2Apply CPVC glue onto the end each PVC street elbow. Attach the PVC street elbows onto each of the PVC tees.
3Slide four of the 15-inch PVC pipes in the openings on the, now attached, PVC street elbows.
4Cement the four remaining 15-inch PVC pipes into the openings of the PVC tees.
5Place the poster board into the box, so that it gently curves along the back of the box and out the front.
6Cover the entire box by laying the the white fabric over it, so that only a single opening in the front is visible.
7Position the lamps outside of the box, so that they shine into the box through the fabric.
