Lower the contrast of your photo. Film in the 1960s was not as vibrant as today's digital pictures.
2Adjust the color. The photo should look somewhat washed-out, so the color saturation needs to be lowered. Play with the hues until you get the look you want. Any adjustments can be undone.
3Reduce the sharpness. Older color photos were not quite as sharp as they are today.
4Add noise or grain. This will add some texture to the photo to compensate for the reduced sharpness.
