A florist portfolio is a collection of floral arrangements captured in photographs that are arranged in a presentation PowerPoint or book. The portfolio can be used to demonstrate the type of arrangements made by a person to an employer or for customers. The only difference between these two types of portfolios may be the inclusion of pricing information or how many different types of arrangements are featured.

Make a title page by centering the words "Floral Arrangement Portfolio" and beneath the title center your name. Use an easy-to-read font. Make your title bigger and bolder than your name. Use the same font on all of your pages. Use the same format on all of your pages so that your portfolio is consistent throughout.
2Organize your portfolio into categories. Categories may include centerpieces, one-sided centerpieces, funeral arrangements, wedding bouquets, boutonnieres, corsages, arches and seasonal or special theme arrangements and mixed arrangements. One category should naturally progress into the next.
3Arrange your samples by order of expense from least to most expensive. Within a category, you should center a photograph of the arrangement on the page with a descriptive caption beneath the image and a suggested price point for the arrangement. You should know the proper names of all of the flowers shown in your portfolio.
4Create alternative formats for items like bouquets and corsages. Show the primary arrangement the same as for all of your other arrangements. After your caption, center alternative photos much smaller and evenly spaced, showing different styles or colors. This will add interest to the overall portfolio.
5Scan your photos into your computer using as high a resolution as possible. Use a software program such as Word to create your pages and captions. Crop any photos that are not centered or that have something in the image that should not be in the portfolio. Your portfolio represents your work and should be of the highest quality you can manage.
6Print out your pages using photo-quality paper. If necessary, have your pages printed at a photocopier store for the best results.
