Locate an appropriate photo or test pattern online. You can find many good test images by using a key word search with the words "printer test images."
2Insert a USB memory device into your computer's USB drive.
3Save the image by holding your mouse cursor over it and right-clicking the mouse.
4Select the "Save As" on the pull-down menu. Select the USB drive with your memory stick to save the test image to this stick.
5Take the stick with you to a photography or electronics store that has printers on display. Insert your memory stick into a computer that is set up with a printer on display and open the test image in the computer's photo-viewing software.
6Select the "Print" option from the photo viewing software. The image will print from the photo printer.
7Study the print to determine how closely it matches the image on your screen.
